A now discontinued model, this gorgeous D-28 Marquis is an absolute powerhouse dreadnought with a rich, booming voice that projects like a cannon & can fill any room thanks to the Adirondak spruce top. Fully inspected & professionally set up ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Various surface scratches along with tiny dents & dings, but really nice shape overall & quite clean for the most part.
Neck: V-shaped mahogany neck with white side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with abalone diamond inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have tons of life in them. Open-gear Butterbean tuners & diamond volute. 1 3/4" nut width; 25.4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Double-bound dreadnought body in natural high gloss finish. Solid Adirondak spruce top with herringbone purfling. Ebony bridge with bone saddle. Tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Solid Indian rosewood back & sides. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 9.1 oz.
