The stylish design of the 40 Series adds panache to the classic tone & feel of East Indian rosewood back & sides, a Sitka spruce scalloped X-braced top & hand-fit dovetail neck joint. Open geared tuners, antique white binding, polished gloss finish, a tortoise colored pickguard & abalone pearl inlay offer shimmer with exemplary tone. Long scale & a sleek modified low-oval neck with narrow taper mean strumming & picking for hours in comfort & bliss. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various little nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches. There's a crack in the top of the body just below the bridge that was professionally glued & cleated by us so it's stable. Overall the guitar has great look to it with an ultra cool vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Modified Low Oval mahogany neck with antique white binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with abalone snowflake inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Bound headstock with rosewood overlay & gold open-gear Butterbean tuners. 1 3/4" nut width; 25.4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Double-bound, 000-14 Fret body in natural high gloss finish with small tortoise pickguard. Solid Sitka spruce with scalloped X-bracing & Aging Toner finish. Abalone purfling & rosette with multi-ring inlay. Ebony bridge with abalone snowflake inlays. Compensated saddle & cream end pins with abalone dot inlays. Solid East Indian rosewood back & sides with multi-color herringbone center strip. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 5.8 oz.
