Description
The 2012 PRS SE Custom Semi-Hollow in Tri-Color Sunburst combines the familiar PRS platform with a semi-hollow body design for a more open, resonant response. Built in South Korea by World Musical Instrument, it features a mahogany body with a maple top and flame maple veneer, highlighted by the signature PRS slash-style soundhole and natural maple body edge. The result is a guitar that feels familiar while offering a slightly different character than its solidbody counterpart.
A pair of PRS-designed humbuckers provide everything from clean, articulate tones to thicker overdriven sounds through a simple volume, tone, and 3-way toggle layout. The PRS wraparound bridge keeps the hardware straightforward, while the Wide Fat neck profile offers a substantial but comfortable feel. It has been professionally inspected and set up.
Cosmetic Condition:
Clean overall with light signs of use. Surface scratches are present from normal handling, with no chips or dents.
Neck:
Mahogany neck with a Wide Fat profile and 25" scale length. Rosewood fingerboard with a 10" radius, PRS bird inlays, and 22 frets showing minimal playwear. 1 11/16" nut width. PRS-designed sealed tuners. Neck is straight, truss rod functions properly.
Body:
Semi-hollow mahogany body with a bass-side chamber, maple top, and flame maple veneer in Tri-Color Sunburst finish. PRS slash-style soundhole, natural maple body edge, and PRS-designed one-piece wraparound bridge. Nickel and chrome hardware. It weighs 6lbs 7.7oz.
Electronics:
PRS-designed Bass and Treble humbuckers with master volume, master tone, and 3-way toggle switch. Electronics are functioning properly.
