Derived from a design dating back to 1957, this gorgeous Ric is memorable for its hand-carved arch top & back. Employing only premium 'charactered' Maple, the 381V69 has a fully bound body with 'checked' binding & extreme double cutaways, along with a bound crescent sound hole to complete this exquisite look. The body shows off some truly stunning flame figuring & thanks to a pro set up from Cream City Music, it's ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition overall with only some mild surface scratches. The Made In America sticker is still on the pickguard.
Neck: Slender profile maple & walnut neck with white binding & black side-dots. Beautiful rosewood fingerboard with mother pearl "shark tooth" inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Ric Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1.63" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rods work fine.
Body: Semi-hollow maple body with hand-carved arched top & back finished in Fireglo. Double-bound with checked binding & bound slash hole. "R" tailpiece with six-saddle adjustable bridge. Split-level white plexi pickguard still has the Made In America sticker! Guitar weighs 7 lbs 11.6 oz.
Electronics: Vintage-style "toaster top" single coil pickups. Dual volume & tone controls with boost blend. 3-way toggle switch; mono & stereo outputs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original vintage-style hardshell case included along with Rickenbacker booklet & polish cloth.
