Description

The Model 660 features a charactered maple cutaway body based on an innovative design from the 1950's. A rosewood fingerboard is punctuated beautifully with triangular pearloid inlay markers, while the maple double bound neck and body are solid through and through. Rickenbacker's trademark "checkered" black and white binding set off the body, while white binding graces the neck. The 660 is electronically engineered to the exacting standards of the vintage reissue series, complete with Rickenbacker's own vintage reissue-type pickups. Professionally set up by Cream City Music with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds great!

Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition overall with only some mild surface scratches.

Neck: Chunky maple neck with white binding & black side-dots. Nicely figured rosewood fingerboard with pearloid triangle inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Vintage style Ric Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 3/4" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. There's a ever so slight bow in the treble side of the neck, but the truss rods function properly, the action is low & the guitar is very playable.

Body: Neck-thru design with solid maple wings. The body shows off some gorgeous flame figuring! Trapeze tailpiece with six-saddle adjustable bridge & split-level gold pickguard. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 6.9 oz.

Electronics: Vintage style "toaster top" single coils. Dual volume & tone controls with boost blend knob. 3-way toggle switch & mono output. All electronics are in perfect working condition.

Case: Original hardshell case included along with a bag of some Rickenbacker goodies.
