Description
What makes this guitar special: A really wonderful player's grade Santa Cruz with some nice upgrades - namely the LR Baggs preamp with individual saddle pickups. These Pre War models are known for their superb tone & massive voice, and of course this one is no exception - big & boomy with awesome sound projection. Professionally set up & ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: This was obviously someone's "go to" guitar & it shows - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some finish wear. The bridge was professionally reglued & the fingerboard refretted. No cracks or breaks & overall the guitar has a great, well-played look.
Neck: Mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl micro dots. Refretted with jumbo frets, all in great shape with no wear. Waverly nickel tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid spruce top with ebony bridge & end pins. The original saddle was replaced with individual pickup saddles. Small tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Solid Indian rosewood back & sides. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 10 oz.
Electronics: Unoriginal LR Baggs taken from a Tacoma - perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
