Description
What makes this guitar special: The OM Pre-War is inspired by pre-world war two Orchestra Models, and ensures that these guitars' time-honored construction is recreated with stunning tonal accuracy, as well as authentic in-hand feel. Its classic design uses mahogany for the back/side wood and Sitka spruce on top. This gives you the perfect combination of throaty, low-end heavy tones brought about by the mahogany and the extra high-end sweetness from the Sitka spruce. Plus, its advanced X bracing ensures exceptional resonance and sustain for booming chords and defined single-note runs. The guitar’s look is a streamlined one, with single violin purfling, a violin purfle combo rosette, tortoise pickguard, and the SCGC logo on the headstock being its most prominent aesthetic quality. However, his guitar would be nothing without a great-playing neck – and it wholeheartedly delivers. The “V” shape gives a sturdy in-hand feel for your thumb especially and furthers the guitars already-stellar playing comfort. With its tonal versatile, ergonomic design and bold, time-honored tone, you would be hard-pressed to find a better Pre-War OM than this one by Santa Cruz.
