The pairing of torrefied Sitka spruce over Indian rosewood gives this 717e a broad tonal range-plenty of low-end thump with a sparkling, clear top end that doesn't get harsh. The deeper Grand Pacific body adds projection and low-end presence without losing note definition, and the V-Class bracing helps everything ring together with strong sustain and great intonation. Plug it in and the LR Baggs Element VTC system gives you a natural-sounding, gig-ready signal.
Playability is a high point here-thanks to the satin-finished neck and Taylor's Action Control Neck system, you can tweak the action yourself in seconds without removing strings.
