Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is a Tokai AST-56 and it’s based on a 56 Strat. They really paid a lot of attention to detail as this guitar really nails a lot of the specs of an actual 56. Features include a soft “V” shaped maple neck, sunburst body with a single-ply white pickguard, a vintage-style bridge with bent-steel saddles and exceptional sounding pickups. On top of all of that, the guitar is in great shape overall!
Condition: Great overall shape! There are light surface scratches and just a few tiny dings throughout the guitar. There are a couple of tiny cracks around the back cover plate screw holes but these are barely visible. The fingerboard and frets are in great shape with hardly any play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is super comfortable with great action up and down the fingerboard and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured body in a three-tone sunburst finish. Vintage-style bridge with bent-steel saddles, skirted aged white control knobs and s single-ply white pickguard and back cover plate.
Neck: Soft “V” shaped maple neck with a skunk stripe down the back. Maple fingerboard with black dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Unoriginal vintage-style nickel tuners, 25.5” scale length.
