Another magnificent creation from Senior Master Builder Stephen Stern at the Gretsch Custom Shop. We proudly present this absolutely gorgeous G6128-CS '57 Duo Jet Relic finished in an ultra cool Faded Fiesta Red. Very unique & exceptionally resonant, this one is a definite must-have for any serious collector or player. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case!
Cosmetic Condition: Intentionally "aged" at the factory to give that "vintage" look - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Stephen did a superb job relic-ing the guitar & it looks marvelous with an ultra cool vibe.
Neck: Nicely rounded mahogany neck with aged white binding & red side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl humblock inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Bound headstock with mother of pearl Gretsch inlay. Gotoh open-back tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Semi-hollow mahogany body with maple cap & 4-ply top binding. Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with Rocking Bar bridge on a floating ebony base. Gold plexi pickguard with black Gretsch logo & aged gold hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 8.9 oz.
Electronics: Seymour Duncan DynaSonic single coils. Master volume & tone controls along with individual pickup volume controls. Aged "G" Arrow knobs & 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original deluxe tweed hardshell case included along with COA & accessories.
