Description
An excellent Japanese-made Mosrite from the the late '60s to early '70s. This gorgeous Avenger features many of the hallmarks that make the Mosrite one of the most instantly recognizable electric guitars in the world , namely the unique offset body design with proprietary single coils pickups. A nice player thanks to a pro set up.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches.
Neck: Maple neck that gets chunkier as you work your way up the fretboard. Nicely aged cream binding with black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with white micro dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Sealed-back tuners are in good working condition, however the two lowest tuners (E & A) are a but stiff to turn. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-cutaway, solid maple body finished in 3-tone sunburst. Moseley tremolo tailpiece & six-saddle adjustable bridge. Unfortunately the trem arm is missing. 4-ply white pickguard is in great shape & the guitar weighs 9 lbs 2.4 oz.
Electronics: Mosrite embossed single coils. Master volume & tone controls with 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
