The Vox AC10 Hand-Wired revives a beloved low-wattage amplifier with uncompromising vintage accuracy and modern versatility. Rebuilt from the ground up by reverse-engineering an original 1965 model, it faithfully recreates the signature EL84-driven chime, musical phase-inverter breakup, and dynamic voltage sag that define the iconic Vox sound. Hand-wired circuitry, custom-wound transformers, and a vintage-spec 9mm birch ply cabinet work together to produce the harmonic richness, touch sensitivity, and three-dimensional resonance that made the AC10 a studio favorite. Paired with a Celestion G12M Greenback speaker, the amp delivers the warmth, sparkle, and expressive response that shaped countless classic recordings.
Balancing its heritage with modern performance, the AC10 Hand-Wired adds modern features without compromising tone. Its Top Boost channel offers the iconic chime and drive with precise tone shaping, while the FET-driven spring reverb and transparent, bypass-able FX loop provide professional flexibility for stage or studio. Thoughtfully designed for players who value authentic vintage feel at practical volume levels, this 10-watt powerhouse delivers rich British crunch, lush reverb, and pedal-friendly clarity-all wrapped in timeless Vox styling. Plug in and experience a true piece of Vox history, meticulously reborn for modern musicians.
