The Yamaha LS16 ARE is a small-body concert acoustic-electric guitar featuring an all-solid wood construction & Yamaha's A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) wood-aging technology. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall with some mild surface scratches.
Neck: 5-ply mahogany & rosewood with cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with abalone dot inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Bound headstock with rosewood veneer & gold diecast tuners. 1 3/4" nut width; 25 9/16" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Concert size body in natural high-gloss finish. Maple top & back binding. Solid Engelmann spruce top treated with A.R.E. Tortoise pickguard & abalone rosette. Ebony bridge with compensated saddle. Solid rosewood back & sides with maple center strip. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 12.4 oz.
Electronics: SRT Zero Impact Passive Piezo pickup (no on-board preamp controls/dials).
Case: Yamaha padded gig bag included.
