Description

What makes this uke special: Just recently acquired from the family of the original owner, this fun little soprano is a real joy to play, and loud too! Style 2 features all mahogany construction with bound top & back. No cracks, breaks or repairs. Fresh strings & ready to go upon arrival.

Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for its age with only mild play wear. There's some black fabric remnants stuck to the back of the body. They look like they've been on there for years & if someone was ambitious enough they could probably get picked off with time, but it would be a tedious job. Aside from that the uke has a wonderful, true vintage look with a gorgeous patina.

Neck: Mahogany neck with Brazilian rosewood fingerboard & micro dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Martin logo pressed into the back of the headstock. Friction tuners are in good working condition. 1 7/16" nut width; 13 3/4" scale length.

Body: Solid mahogany top, back & sides. 3-ply binding on the top & single-ply on the back. Simple rosewood bridge & saddle with 5-ply rosette. Uke weighs exactly 10 oz.

Case: Vintage canvas carry bag included.
