What makes this guitar special: Great player's guitar with a cool vintage vibe. The Bamboo Yellow top with Jaguar Tan back & sides look sharp and compliment each other really well. The sweet sounding Dynasonic single coil is all you need to create some warm, rich textures. Professionally set up by Cream City Music with fresh strings & low action.
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused. There are various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some light finish wear. The neck was just recently professionally reset by our own luthier & plays great now.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with cream binding & red side-dots. Beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl hump block inlays. Original frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. 2-ply headstock overlay with Gretsch Electromatic logos. Unoriginal gold waffle back tuners are in perfect working condition. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Unoriginal heel cap has a screw hole in it for a strap button.
Body: Single cutaway, hollow maple body with bound F-holes. "G" cutout tailpiece with Melita bridge. Copper plexi pickguard with Gretsch logo. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 15.5 oz.
Pickup: Dynasonic single coil neck pickup. Master volume & tone controls with Baldwin-era "G" Arrow knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
