Description
Cosmetic Condition: This guitar was well-played & has the finish wear to prove it. Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & weather checking. Professionally repaired headstock crack is stable & does not affect playability. Overall the guitar has a cool vintage vibe with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Chunky maple neck with multi-bound Brazilian rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl hump block inlays. The guitar has been professionally refretted with jumbo frets. The frets are in great shape with no wear. Bound headstock with mother of pearl Gretsch logo. Original Grover Imperial tuners in perfect working condition. Most of the gold has worn off the tuners, but they look great. 1 3/4" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Multi-bound, hollow maple body with bound F-holes. Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with unoriginal gold Adjustomatic bridge. Pickguard is missing. Unoriginal strap button by the neck.
Pickups: Original DynaSonic single coils. Master volume & tone controls along with individual pickup volume controls. Original Arrow knobs; 3-way toggle switch.
Playability / Sound: Nice action - neck plays well & is comfortable. Classic Gretsch sound!
Case: Vintage hardshell case included.
