Cosmetic condition: Very good condition for a 60 year old guitar. There are various nicks, chips,dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. A previous owner carved his name into the surface layer of the finish on the back of the headstock, and the tuners have been replaced with vintage reproductions. The neck has been refretted, and as such the edges of the fingerboard are slightly rounded from the sanding done at that time.
Body: Double-bound hollow maple body with dual f-holes in stunning sunburst finish. Trapeze tailpiece with compensated rosewood bridge. Tortoise pickguard is in great shape with no cracking, although there is some visible pickwear.
Weight: 5lb 12.7 oz.
Neck: Chunky, one-piece mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Professionally refretted & frets are in great shape with no wear. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight and truss rod works fine.
Electronics: Original “Dog Ear” P-90 single coil pickup - 7.71K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Vintage chipboard case included.
