Description

What makes this guitar special:  100% original & a wonderful little player with a bright, punchy tone.  The single P-90 pickup is all you need for hours of fun with this gorgeous 3/4 size M-65 Freshman.  Made in Hoboken, NJ & complete with original chipboard case.  Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!

Cosmetic Condition:  Great shape for its age with some mild play wear - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & weather checking.  Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a gorgeous patina.

Neck:  Slender profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots.  Beautiful, dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays.  Frets are in great shape with practically no wear.  Guild silkscreen headstock logo.  Open-back strip tuners are in perfect working condition.  1 5/8" nut width; 23" scale length.  Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body:  Single cutaway, hollow body with sunburst top.  Maple top with 3-ply binding & dual F-holes.  Guild trapeze tailpiece with fixed, compensated rosewood bridge.  3-ply black pickguard.  Mahogany back & sides.  The interior label is very clean & in great shape.  Guitar weighs 4 lbs 8.9 oz.

Electronics:  P-90 single coil neck pickup with cream "soap bar" cover - 4.95K ohms.  Master volume & tone controls with clear plastic knobs.  All electronics are in good working condition.

Case:  Original chipboard case included.
