Description
Condition: Various surface scratches, small nicks, dings, dents and some weather checking throughout the instrument. Fingerboard and neck are in excellent shape. The saddle has slots for 13 strings however the guitar is designed for 10. The pickup cavities have been partially routed (see photos). All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid double cutaway maple body in sunburst finish. 3-ply white pickguard, chrome control panel, bowler hat control knobs and a chrome top-load tailpiece and bridge.
Neck: Thick angled bolt-on maple neck extends over the length of the body and features a black metal fingerboard with white “frets” and musical notes labeling various positions of the neck. 2 5/16” metal nut, slotted peg head with nickel Kluson Deluxe Double Stripe tuners with ivoroid buttons and a 24 ¼” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Mosrite pickups in the neck and bridge with master volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 9.39K Ohms.
Bridge: 9.48K Ohms.

Playability/Sound: This is a great sounding vintage Melobar. The Mosrite pickups provide plenty of output and sound very open and natural. The guitar is rather lightweight making it very easy and comfortable to play.
