Description
Cosmetic Condition: Superb Italian made Vox Mark VI finished in white. This is an ultra cool vintage guitar with that iconic teardrop shaped body. Beautiful condition overall with some minor dents & dings along with mild surface scratches. The white body finish & pickguard have aged into a mellow cream color. Overall the guitar has fabulous look with a great patina.
Neck: Maple neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. Original frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. Vox-logo nickel tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width with zero fret; 25" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid, teardrop shaped body with a soft cloth back pad. The pad is frayed a little bit, but not too bad. The word Second is scratched into the back of the body just below the neck plate. We've never seen factory seconds marked this way before & to be honest we're not even sure if this was done at the factory. Structurally & electronically there are no issues with the guitar & it plays great! Original tremolo tailpiece with adjustable bridge. The mute pad has aged & become hard, but the mute assembly still operates well. 3-ply white pickguard in great shape with no cracks or breaks. Guitar weighs 9 lbs .5 oz.
Pickups: Original single coils with dual tone & master volume controls; 3-way selector switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Unoriginal, vintage Yamaha hardshell case included.
