Description
Cosmetic Condition: Cool vintage vibe on a great sounding guitar! Gorgeous patina & just the right look from a true vintage Martin. This beautiful guitar was recently acquired from the family of the original owner who loved playing it. There are various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & finish wear. There is one very small crack, only about an inch long, in the treble-side waist that was professionally repaired by our luthier, who glued & cleated it. The bridge was pulling up a just a little bit, so he re-glued that as well. Overall the guitar has a great look to it & is lots of fun to play!
Neck: V-shaped mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & plays great!
Body: Double-bound dreadnought body with solid spruce top & rosewood bridge. Tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Solid mahogany back & sides. Bridge plate & all braces are original & in good condition. No loose braces.
Playability / Sound: Professionally set up by our luthier with a fresh set of light gauge Martin strings. Nice, low action - plays like a brand new guitar! Rich, punchy tone that is very loud & resonant. Exactly what you want from a vintage Martin.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
