Description
A vintage Pre-CBS 1964 Fender Deluxe Reverb 1x12 tube combo amp in fantastic cosmetic condition. It features all original transformers and a what we believe to be an original, factory-installed JBL D131F speaker. While is impossible to know with certainty (due to no date stamp), all anecdotal evidence gives us every reason to belive that this JBL is original to the amp. Like many JBLs from this era, the speaker is marked 16 ohms despite being an 8 ohm speaker (DCR measures 7.5 ohms).
Highly prized for their amazing tone and extreme versatility, original Pre-CBS Blackface Deluxe Reverb amps are growing increasingly hard to come by. On top of that, Deluxe Reverb amps with factory-installed JBLs are almost unheard of. This will make a great addition to any serious amp collection. This amp has been cleaned and serviced. It is fully functional and sounds amazing. Includes padded Tuki cover.
