Description
Cosmetic Condition: A really wonderful player's grade vintage guitar! The guitar has been completely refinished, but still has a cool vintage vibe to it. There are various minor nicks, dents & dings; surface scratches & light finish checking. The original tortoise pickguard is in great shape with no cracks or breaks. Overall the guitar has a great look to it & plays well.
Neck: Bound maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Beautifully figured Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. Original frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Original Kluson Deluxe tuners in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 24" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck date is 1 AUG 65 B.
Body: Solid alder body refinished in black. Fender tremolo tailpiece with six-saddle adjustable bridge. Bridge cover is missing. 4-ply tortoise pattern pickguard in great shape with no cracks or breaks. Guitar weighs 7.85 lbs.
Pickups: Original Fender Jaguar single coils. Master volume & tone controls with unoriginal knobs. One pot dates to '65, the other dates to '81. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Playability / Sound: Nice, low action - neck is comfortable & plays well. Classic Jaguar tones with nice dynamics.
Case: Unoriginal vintage hardshell case included.
