Description
What makes this guitar special: A smooth player with a cool vintage vibe. The guitar previous belonged to a community rec center as evidenced by the name written on the back of the body in marker. Still plays & sounds like a classic Mustang though, thanks to a pro set up from the experts at Cream City Music.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. As previously mentioned, there's some writing on the back of the body from when the guitar belonged to a community rec center. Overall the guitar has a cool, true vintage look to it with a nice patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with beautiful, dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear & have plenty of life in them. F tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 24" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck date reads 8 NOV 65 B.
Body: Solid poplar body finished in red. Dynamic Vibrato tailpiece with six-saddle adjustable bridge. Trem arm & bridge cover are missing. 3-ply white pearloid pickguard is in great shape with no cracks & has aged nicely over the years. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 1.3 oz.
Electronics: Original Mustang single coils with black covers. Master volume & tone controls with double slider switches. Pots date to '65 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
