Cosmetic Condition: Cool vintage vibe with a beautiful patina. Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & finish blemishes. There's a piece of binding missing from the treble side neck heel. Overall the guitar has a great look & plays well.
Neck: Maple neck with ivoroid binding & red side-dots. Beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with pearloid "thumbnail" inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Nickel, open-back tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Hollow maple body with top binding & simulated F-holes. Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with floating Rocking Bar bridge. Silver plexi pickguard with Chet Atkins Tennessean logo. Pickguard is in great shape with no cracks or breaks. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 2 oz.
Pickups: Gretsch HiloTron single coils with silver bezels. Master volume & individual pickup volume controls with "G" Arrow knobs. 3-way pickup & selector switches with standby switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Playability / Sound: Nice action - neck is comfortable & plays well. Warm, rich tone with that classic Gretsch sound.
