Description
Cosmetic Condition: Authentic vintage look - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & finish wear. The binding has shrunk just a little bit in both cutaway regions of the body, but is still firmly attached. There's a very slight gap in the headstock flange on the treble side, but here again it's very firm with no movement. The guitar is 100% original with a great vibe & gorgeous patina.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Mother of pearl Guild & Chesterfield headstock logos. Grover Pat Pend tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Multi-bound, semi-hollow mahogany body with dual F-holes. Guild-logo Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with compensated bridge; nickel hardware. Black stair-step pickguard with gold Guild logo & trim. Guitar weighs 8.5 lbs.
Pickups: Guild humbuckers. Bridge - 6.78K ohms; Neck - 6.79K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with Guild logo knobs; 3-way toggle switch; master volume control. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Playability / Sound: Nice, low action; smooth, comforable neck - plays & feels great. Gorgeous humbucker tones - warm & rich sounding with beautiful dynamics & sustain!
Case: Vintage hardshell case included. Case is a bit rough with its handle & tolex missing, but serves its purpose well.
