Description
Cosmetic Condition: Ultra cool vintage vibe with a gorgeous sunburst finish. The flame maple back is stunning & the wide-grain spruce top really makes this guitar's sound jump. Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & finish checking. There's a slight gap between the back of the bridge & the top of the guitar, but it's not too bad & the bridge is firmly attached to the guitar with no playability issues. The guitar is crack free as is the pickguard. Overall it looks beautiful & has a nice patina.
Neck: Slender mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with some really nice variegation in the wood. Mother of pearl block inlays with original frets. There is some light fret wear, but plenty of life in them. Original gold Kluson Deluxe tuners in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Square shoulder dreadnought with multiple top & back binding. Solid spruce top with exquisite flame maple back & sides. Rosewood bridge & adjustable saddle. Tortoise pattern pickguard with rope & cactus motif.
Playability / Sound: Nice, low action - neck plays well & is very comfortable. Sweet, rich tone that is well balanced & projects nicely.
