The neck actually gets chunkier as you work your way up the fretboard. .88 at the first fret & a full inch at the 12th. The neck is silky smooth & plays great up & down the fretboard. The single P-90 sounds fantastic & kicks out some dynamite tones! Comes with a pro set up, so it's ready for action straight out of the case!
Cosmetic Condition: Typical, normal play wear for a 50-plus year old guitar - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some pick wear. Overall the guitar has a marvelous look to it with a wonderful patina.
Neck: Super chunky mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. The fingerboard really shows off some gorgeous variegation in the wood. Frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe strip tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body. Tremolo tailpiece with compensated bridge & chrome hardware. 3-ply large black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks or chips. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 11.9 oz.
Electronics: P-90 single coil pickup with black "soap bar" cover - 8.19K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Period-correct, vintage Gibson hardshell case included.
