Description

What makes this guitar special: A super cool vintage Olympic with a stellar vibe and fantastic playability. The chunky neck profile on this one is outrageously comfortable, and the action is low and smooth – you’re sure to be stuck playing this one for hours. Completely original and finished in a gorgeous sunburst, this one will arrive ready to play right out of the case.

Cosmetic condition: Used but not abused, with standard playwear throughout. Various scratches, dents, nicks, dings, chips, and scuffs throughout, with visible weather checking and mild oxidation on the hardware. There is also one notable area where the finish has cracked and split where the arm rests on the lower bout. Overall, this one has a terrific look to it with a gorgeous vintage patina.

Body: One-piece mahogany body with single-ply white pickguard and “E” badge. Chrome stopbar bridge and tremolo tailpiece.

Weight: 6 lb, 9.3 oz

Neck: Chunky mahogany neck with aged white side dots and pearl dot inlays. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Batwing headstock with gold Epiphone logo and nickel Klusons in perfect working condition. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard is in marvelous shape and frets have a ton of life left in them. Neck is straight and truss rod is functioning.

Electronics: Original single coil pickup in the bridge position (7.29k ohms) with black tophat knobs, 1x volume, 1x tone. Pots date to ’65 and all electronics are fully functional.

Case: Unoriginal, contemporary hard shell case included.
