Description
Cosmetic Condition: Cool vintage vibe - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & finish blemishes. Various sections of the body binding have deteriorated & chipped off. Once small piece was actually replaced, on the treble-side waist. There's a minor crack in the top, between the treble side of the neck & the pickguard. The bridge has been re-glued & is secured firmly to the top. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Slender mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding. Beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl double parallelogram inlays. Original frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Kluson Deluxe tuners in perfect working condition. There is a small chip in the back of the headstock with some wood missing, but it is not a headstock crack or repair. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length.
Body: Square shoulder dreadnought body with multiple top & back binding. Solid spruce top with mahogany back & sides. Rosewood bridge with adjustable saddle. Tortoise-style pickguard; multi-ring rosette.
Playability / Sound: Nice, low action - guitar plays & feels great. Sweet, woody tone with nice chime.
Case: Vintage Gibson hardshell case included.
