Cosmetic Condition: Typical play wear for a 50-year old bass - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear.
Neck: Rounded maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Closed-back tuners are in good working condition. 1 5/8" nut width with zero fret; 30" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, violin-shaped body in sunburst finish. Carved spruce top with nickel trapeze tailpiece & adjustable ebony bridge. Pearloid pickguard & control plate. Maple back & sides with some light flame figuring. Bass weighs 4 lbs 15.9 oz.
Electronics: Hofner "blade" pickups with large black bezels. Dual volume controls with "tea cup" knobs. Rhythm/Solo, Bass & Treble switches all in good working condition.
Case: Vintage hardshell case included.
