Don’t let the laminate construction fool you-this thing sounds incredible acoustically, with an outstanding tonal balance that translates beautifully when amplified. The patina on this piece is superb as well-it has obviously been well loved and played in, and showcases lovely weather checking patterns and good honest wear throughout. Cosmetic condition: A true player with tons of mojo! There are various scratches, dents, dings, nicks, and scuffs present, with ample finish checking throughout and areas of finish wear. The pearl inlaid headstock logos have washed out with time, and much of the hardware shows oxidation. The saddle has been taken down, but there is still some room left on it, and the neck angle is great, with terrific string action. Much have the binding has aged into a French Vanilla color, with a nice yellow hue. The pickup lead has been changed for a contemporary braided wire as well. Overall, this one has a great look to it, with a gorgeous patina.
Body: Double bound laminated mahogany back & sides with 3-ply bound laminated Spruce top in sunburst finish. Screwed-down tortoise pickguard and multi-ring aged ivory binding. Rosewood bridge with adjustable rosewood saddle and aged white bride pins.

Neck: Semi-chunky solid mahogany neck with black side dots and split parallelogram inlays. Bound rosewood fingerboard is in terrific shape, and while frets show wear consistent with age, they still have life left in them. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Black headstock overlay with pearl Gibson logo and crown. Original two-ring Kluson Deluxe tuners with tulip buttons work great. Neck is straight and truss rod is functional.
Electronics: Neck mounted P-90 single coil pickup (8.00k ohms) with adjustable volume & tone.
Case: 1960’s Gibson hard shell case included. Case has a vibe much like the guitar, and is loaded with stickers from all over the world-very cool.
