Description
What makes this guitar special: Dating to the early-mid 1970's, this J-50 Deluxe plays beautifully! The tone is rich and warm without sacrificing the high end, and has a lot of room for dynamic playing. Very clean and in great condition for its age, this gorgeous piece is sure to impress you. The tonewoods have aged nicely, providing an absolutely dynamite sound. With a professional setup from Cream City Music included, you can be certain this guitar will arrive ready to play. All you’ll have to do is tune it!
Cosmetic condition: Very good condition for its age, with minimal wear throughout. There are various surface scratches and scuffs throughout the body of the instrument, and some noticeable fretwear consistent with the age of the guitar. The saddle has also been taken down quite a bit, but there is still some room to work with.
Body: Double bound mahogany body with nicely aged spruce top and tortoise pickguard. Pickguard is in great shape, and shows no signs of cracking or lifting, but does show some minor pickwear. Three ring rosette with rosewood bridge and black bridge pins. Lower bout width measures 16”.
Weight: 4lb, 6oz
Neck: Mahogany neck with aged white side dots and pearl dot inlays. Rosewood fingerboard is in great condition, and shows some nice variegation. Neck is straight and plays beautifully up and down the fretboard.
