What makes this guitar special: A fantastic player’s piece, chock full of trademark Tele tonality and sporting an outrageously comfortable neck profile. It weighs in at just under 7 lbs.-perfect for long nights playing. A previous owner stripped the finish and aged the clear coat-so it’s got all the vintage vibe it deserves, in addition to its superb playability. Professionally setup by our top-notch in house luthier staff, this one will arrive ready to go right out of the case.
Condition: Great shape for its age, with standard playwear throughout. Various scratches, dents, nicks, dings, chips, and scuffs, along with some areas of finish wear and ample finish checking. The original finish was stripped and a clear coat was applied, which was then aged to show some authentic looking checking. The body has a message scrawled under the pickguard by whomever performed the finish work. Pots are unoriginal. Neck has been refretted, and frets have a ton of life left.
Body: Solid ash body in stripped finish with 3-ply white pickguard, and string-through bridge with steel barrel saddles.
Weight: 6 lb, 14 oz
Neck: Full-C shaped maple neck with black side dots and black dot inlays. 1 5/8” nut width, 25 1/2" scale length. Black headstock decal and original F-stamped tuners in perfect working order. Neck has been refretted, and frets have plenty of life left in them. Neck is straight and truss rod works normally.
Electronics: Original single coil pickups (Bridge-5.36k ohms, Neck-6.15k ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch and knurled chrome knobs, 1x volume, 1x tone. All electronics have been tested and are fully functional.
Case: Fender hard shell case included. Case is heavily stickered, and one latch is broken but it’s structurally sound and does the job fine.
