Description
Cosmetic Condition: Cool vintage vibe & a great player! Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & play wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a nice patina.
Neck: Slim profile mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. Mother of pearl Guild & Chesterfield logos. Chrome tuners in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body. Stop tailpiece with adjustable bridge. There are two small holes in the body between the bridge & bridge pickup. Not sure what they're for - perhaps the previous owner was going to put a different bridge on the guitar. 5-ply black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks or breaks, just some surface scratches. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 15.5 oz.
Pickups: Guild Model XR-7 humbuckers. Bridge - 8.56K ohms; Neck - 8.52K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with unoriginal black speed knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '70. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Vintage chipboard case included.
