Description
What makes this guitar special: Super cool, true vintage Tele in original blonde finish. Superb tone & playability with a beautiful acoustic resonance. The pickups sound fantastic, producing clear, bell-like tones & the rounded maple neck is very comfortable to play. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music so the guitar is guaranteed to play great & sound amazing!
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with typical play wear for its age - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. There was a square shaped decal on the back of the body at some point which left a "ghosting" image in the finish. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with skunk stripe & black dot inlays. Original small frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. F tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck stamp reads 3 FEB 73 B.
Body: Solid ash body in original blonde finish. String-thru bridge with three adjustable "barrel" saddles. Bridge cover is missing. 3-ply white pickguard has aged into a mellow cream color. The guard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 2.2 oz.
Pickups: Original Tele single coils. Bridge - 6.17K ohms; Neck - 7.42K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs; 3-way selector switch with black "top hat" cap. Pots date to '73 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The case also shows some wear & tear & the right latch is missing its hook so it won't actually lock, but the others are fine.
