What makes this bass special: True vintage Ric 4001 bass in that stylish Jetglo finish. This one's a real road warrior - the treble side wing of the body was severely cracked some time ago & was professionally glued together - quite a battle scar indeed, but way cool & very punk looking! Professionally set up by us so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Cool vintage look with various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & repaired body crack.
Neck: Maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Beautiful rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl triangle inlays. Frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. Schaller open-gear tuners are in perfect working condition. The A-string tuner has a replacement screw in the back. 1 5/8" nut width; 33 1/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rods are in good working condition.
Body: Neck-thru body design with solid maple wings. Top-loading bridge with adjustable saddles. Single-ply, white plexi pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Bass weighs 9 lbs 2.7 oz.
Pickups: Original Ric single coil bass pickups. Dual volume & tone controls; 3-way toggle switch; mono & stereo outputs. Pots date to '74 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
