What makes this bass special: A superb player with marvelous tone & feel. Priced very affordably due to the original gloss finish having been stripped off. The neck is super comfortable & plays great up & down the fretboard. The double single coil pickups deliver rich, vibrant tones - that classic Jazz Bass sound! Professionally set up by our own luthier, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for its age & pretty clean for the most part - there are various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings throughout along with surface scratches.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Maple fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Original frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Bullet truss rod & single round string tree. Fender nickel tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 1/2" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions fine.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable "barrel" saddles & bridge cover. 3-ply black pickguard with black thumb rest. Bass weighs 10.35 lbs.
Pickups: Jazz Bass single coils with black covers. Bridge - 7.12K ohms; Neck - 6.79K ohms (chrome cover included). Dual volume & master tone controls. Pots date to '75 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Unoriginal Nash hardshell case included.
