Description

What makes this bass special:  A superb player with marvelous tone & feel.  Priced very affordably due to the original gloss finish having been stripped off.  The neck is super comfortable & plays great up & down the fretboard.  The double single coil pickups deliver rich, vibrant tones - that classic Jazz Bass sound!  Professionally set up by our own luthier, so it plays & sounds fantastic!

Cosmetic Condition:  Great shape for its age & pretty clean for the most part - there are various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings throughout along with surface scratches.

Neck:  Nicely rounded maple neck with cream binding & black side-dots.  Maple fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays.  Original frets are in great shape with hardly any wear.  Bullet truss rod & single round string tree.  Fender nickel tuners are in perfect working condition.  1 1/2" nut width; 34" scale length.  Neck is straight & truss rod functions fine.

Body:  Contoured, solid ash body.  Top-loading bridge with four adjustable "barrel" saddles & bridge cover.  3-ply black pickguard with black thumb rest.  Bass weighs 10.35 lbs.

Pickups: Jazz Bass single coils with black covers.  Bridge - 7.12K ohms; Neck - 6.79K ohms (chrome cover included).  Dual volume & master tone controls.  Pots date to '75 & all electronics are in good working condition.

Case:  Unoriginal Nash hardshell case included.
