Description
Cosmetic Condition: Super cool vintage vibe in a beautiful natural finish. Recently acquired as part of an 80-piece, private collection, this guitar is a real '70s powerhouse with tons of tone & beautiful resonance - even acoustically it rings like a bell. The natural finish really shows off some nice grain patterns in the wood & the rosewood fretboard just adds to its appeal. Cosmetically the guitar is in great shape for its age - there are some minor nicks & dings along with surface scratches & mild finish wear. There is a small rout in the body next to the neck pickup cavity, but it's not too bad. The guitar has been professionally set up by us with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds awesome. Overall it's got a great look to it & is a sure fire winner with anyone into vintage Strats.
Neck: Slender maple neck with black side-dots. Beautiful rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Original frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Large headstock with bullet truss rod & double string trees. F tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in natural finish. 3-ply white pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles. The original trem arm is missing so we are including a newer replacement. Guitar weighs 9 1/2 lbs.
Pickups: Vintage gray bottom single coils. Bridge - 5.66K ohms; Middle - 5.66K ohms; Neck - 5.69K ohms. Master volume & dual tone controls with unoriginal 5-way selector switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
