Cosmetic Condition: If there's such a thing as the perfect amount of wear, this one definitely falls into that category. Good, honest play wear are present throughout, with various scratches, dents, dings, nicks, chips, and scuffs. There is moderate finish checking throughout the entire guitar, with some light finish wear in a few areas. The neck has been refretted, and while the frets show some wear, they have tons of life in them. Overall, this Tele Custom has a terrific look to it with a beautiful patina.
Body: Solid ash body in natural finish with 3-ply black pickguard that is crack-free. String-through bridge with six adjustable barrel saddles. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 4.3 oz.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with skunk stripe & black dot inlays. 1 5/8" nut width, 25 1/2" scale length. F-stamped Fender tuners work great. Neck has been refretted with plenty of play in them. Neck is straight and bullet truss rod is fully functional. The neck date has mostly faded out, but since the the serial number on the neck plate dates to '75, we're calling this one a '75.
Electronics: Original Fender Wide Range neck humbucker - 10.73K ohms; original Tele bridge single coil - 6.28K oms. Dual volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '73 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The case shows some wear typical for its age. The interior compartment has detached a bit from the side & the outside left latch is missing. Overall the case is still quite sturdy & serves its purpose well.
