Description

What makes this guitar special:  100% original & in great shape for its age!  A superb dreadnought offering a warm, rich tone with a nice balance between the lows & highs.  The semi-chunky neck is nicely rounded & very comfortable to play.  Professionally set up by our own luthier with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!

Cosmetic Condition: Typical light play wear for its age - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some mild finish wear around the soundhole.  There was a very tiny chip in the top of the bridge, bass side that was professionally repaired by us.  Overall the guitar has a great, true vintage look to it with a beautiful patina.

Neck: Nicely rounded, semi-chunky mahogany neck with cream side-dots.  Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays.  Frets show a tiny bit of wear & have plenty of life in them.  Mother of pearl Guild & Chesterfield headstock inlays.  Guild tuners are in perfect working condition.  1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length.  Neck is straight & plays great up & down the fretboard.

Body:  Solid spruce top with 7-ply binding.  Ebony bridge with black end pins; black pickguard & multi-ring rosette.  Solid Indian rosewood sides & back with 5-ply binding & geometric center strip.  There is no pickup & the guitar weighs 5 lbs 6.2 oz.

Case:  Original hardshell case included.  The original handle was replaced some time ago, but overall the case is in very good condition.
