What makes this bass special: We've had plenty of Ripper basses over the years, but rarely do you see a fretless one finished in black! With a cool vintage vibe, this is a very dynamic bass, offering up a wide array of sonic textures. 100% original & fully functioning, this black beauty is a real joy to play & difficult to put down. Professionally set up by us with low action, so it plays & sounds amazing!
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for its age with very little play wear - various minor nicks, dents & dings; lots of surface scratches & pick wear.
Neck: 3-piece maple neck with large volute. Ebony fingerboard with cream side-dots. Gibson tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid maple body. String-thru bridge with adjustable saddles. Bridge cover is missing. 2-ply black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Bass weighs 9 lbs 5.8 oz.
Pickups: Bill Lawrence-designed "Super Humbuckers" with four-way selector switch; master volume & dual tone controls with black speed knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
