Description

What makes this guitar special:  A super bad ass, player's grade LP Custom straight out of the '70s!  The natural finish has aged marvelously into a mellow, golden color & the double humbuckers are simply wicked.  The coil splitter adds a bit of extra flavor & the neck is a player's dream.  Comes with a pro set up from Cream City Music - the vintage experts.

Cosmetic Condition:  She's been out on the road & it shows - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, buckle rash & finish wear.  No cracks, breaks or repairs.  Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a gorgeous patina.

Neck:  Slender profile maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots.  Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays.  Original frets show some wear, but still have plenty of life in them.  Multi-bound headstock with diamond inlays.  Vintage gold Schaller tuners are in perfect working condition.  1 11/16" nut width with a second brass nut inserted; 24 3/4" scale length.  Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body:  Solid mahogany "sandwich" body with plain maple top.  Stopbar tailpiece with Tune-O-Matic bridge & graphite saddles.  Original 5-ply, black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks.  Black strap locks.  Guitar weighs 10.65 lbs - hefty, but resonant.

Pickups:  Exposed coil Gibson humbuckers.  T-Top neck pickup - 7.41K ohms and a more modern Gibson USA bridge humbucker - 8.46K ohms.  Dual volume & tone controls with gold speed knobs; 3-way toggle switch & coil splitter.  Pots date to '76 & all electronics are in good working condition.

Case:  Original hardshell case included.  Two of the latches are broken, but the other two are fine & keep the case closed when necessary.
