What makes this bass special: A killer sounding '78 Jazz Bass that was tastefully refinished in Sea Foam Green & give a pro "relic" job. Superb tone & feel with a super cool look. Professionally set up by our luthier with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Some of it is natural wear & some of it was intentionally done when the bass was refinished & purposely "aged". Either way, it's got a great vibe to it with a nice patina.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with white binding & black side-dots. Beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. The bass was professionally refretted & the frets are in great shape with no wear. Fender tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 1/2" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & bullet truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body refinished in Sea Foam Green. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable barrel saddles & original bridge cover. 4-ply tortoise pickguard with original pickup cover. Bass weighs 10.70 lbs.
Pickups: Original Jazz Bass single coils both dating to '78. Dual volume & master tone controls with black skirted knobs. Two pots date to '78 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Fender blonde vintage reissue hardshell case included.
