Description
What makes this guitar special: All original & in great shape for its age with light play wear. The natural finish really shows off the beauty of the ash body, and with the guitar being a hardtail the overall tone is a bit different than the typical trem bridge Strats of the era. A nicely rounded neck & a trio of killer sounding single coils makes the guitar a real powerhouse. A pro set up by our own luthier is included, so she's ready to go straight out of the case!
Cosmetic Condition: Really nice shape for its age with some typical play wear - minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some pick wear. Overall the guitar looks fantastic & plays like a charm!
Neck: Rounded maple neck with skunk stripe. Maple fingerboard with black dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Large headstock with bullet truss rod & double string trees. Headstock decals are very clean with no bits missing. F-tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in natural finish. Hardtail, string-thru bridge with adjustable saddle. 3-ply black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks & the serial number under the guard matches the serial number on the headstock. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 5.1 oz.
