What Makes This Guitar Special: Loved enough by the previous owner to have been upgraded with DiMarzio Super Distortion pickups and a coil splitting mini toggle switch, this player sounds great and is one of the most affordable ways to get in to an awesome singlecut. The body is constructed with an air gap between the top and back that offers some weight relief, a much louder acoustic volume, and a semi hollow’esque electric tone. A slim neck, killer sound, and a really enjoyable guitar to play unplugged offer a lot of value for this price point. Cosmetic Condition: Various chips, scratches, and dings are found around the instrument. The aftermarket toggle switch that was added to the guitar was not installed professionally. There is a squared section around the switch that was likely repaired after the switch was installed (see photos). This is especially unfortunate because the guitar is actually clean overall, especially considering its age. But, if that section doesn’t bother you, this is a great playing guitar with great pickups at a great price.
Neck: Slim maple with a bound rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays, black side dot markers, and the tuning machines are in perfect working order. 1 11/16” nut width and a 24.75” scale length. The neck is straight and the truss rod has been evaluated and is in fine working order.
Body: Contoured mahogany with a birch top. Cream one ply pickguard and top binding. Chrome tailpiece and adjustable bridge. Guitar weighs 8lbs 12.4oz.
Electronics: Dimarzio Super Distortion humbuckers measure 12.90K ohms at the neck and 13.19K ohms at the bridge. Three way pickup selector switch, dual volume, dual tone controls, and an aftermarket coil splitting mini toggle switch. All electronics have been tested and are in proper working order.
Case: Hardshell case included.
