Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall & a rare color for this time period. The trans blonde finish is absolutely stunning & shows signs of only minor wear - various nicks & dings; small finish chips & a couple of spots on the back where the finish was touched up. There are some small lacquer chips in the top of the headstock, but not too bad. The guitar has been professionally set up by us with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic! A truly cool guitar & a definite must have for any collector.
Neck: Nicely rounded, semi-chunky maple neck & fingerboard with black dot inlays. Original frets are in great shape with no wear. Large headstock with bullet truss rod & double string trees. F tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in original trans blonde finish. The neck pocket has the same serial number as the headstock. 3-ply black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Hardtail bridge with adjustable saddles. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 14.5 oz.
Pickups: Original single coils that all register at around 5.76K ohms, so pretty evenly matched. Master volume & dual tone controls with 5-way selector switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Unoriginal, newer Fender gray tweed hardshell case included.
