Description

What makes this guitar special:  All original with a cool, true vintage vibe.  The natural finish shows off some really nice grain patterns in the ash body & the rounded maple neck plays great up & down the fretboard.  Professionally set up by our own luthier with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds great!

Cosmetic Condition:  Good condition overall with typical play wear for its age - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, buckle rash & some weather checking.  There's some cloudiness & cracking in certain areas of the finish, particularly along the bottom edge of the body.  This is purely cosmetic & doesn't appear to be getting any worse.

Neck:  Nicely rounded & very comfortable maple neck with "skunk stripe".  Maple fingerboard with black dot inlays.  Frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them.  Large headstock with bullet truss rod & double string trees.  F tuners are in perfect working condition.  1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length.  Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body:  Contoured, solid ash body in natural finish.  Tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles & original trem arm included.  3-ply black pickguard shows some pick wear, but no cracks.  The serial number under the guard matches the serial number on the headstock.  Guitar weighs 9 lbs 10.8 oz.

Pickups:  Original grey bottom single coils with black covers.  All pickups date to '79.  Bridge - 7.23K ohms; Middle - 5.55K ohms; Neck - 5.89K ohms.  Master volume & dual tone controls with black skirted knobs; 5-way selector switch.  Pots date to '79 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.

Case:  Original hardshell case included.  One of the hinges is missing three of its rivets, but still functions.
