Description

Cosmetic Condition:  100% original & in great shape for its age.  The bass would easily rate an 8 or 9 out of 10 on the condition scale.  There are various minor nicks & dings along with surface scratches & mild play wear.  It is stamped a factory second on the back of the headstock, but there are absolutely no issues with it structurally or electronically.  The bass has been professionally set up by us with low action, so it plays & sounds amazing!

Neck:  Super slender mahogany neck with cream side-dots.  Beautiful, dark rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays.  Frets are in great shape with no wear.  Nickel tuners are in perfect working condition.  1 1/2" nut width; 34" scale length.  Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body:  Neck-thru design with solid mahogany wings.  Top-loading bridge with adjustable saddles & original bridge cover.  3-ply white pickguard is in excellent condition with no cracks.  The red, white & blue Thunderbird logo is very strong with no fading.  Bass weighs 9 lbs 11 oz.

Pickups:  Original Gibson humbuckers with chrome bezels.  The cover is missing from the middle pickup.  Dual volume & master tone controls with gold speed knobs.  All electronics are in perfect working condition.  Pots date to '76.

Case:  Original hardshell case included along with the original warranty paperwork from Gibson!
