Description
What makes this guitar special: A cool player's grade Strat with a sweet vintage vibe. This American made '82 has had some updates over the years with newer pickups & bridge assembly. The slender maple neck has been stripped down & refretted with medium jumbos, so it plays like a dream. Pro set up included by Cream City Music!
Cosmetic Condition: A real road warrior with good honest play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & finish wear. The finish on the back of the neck & fingerboard has been stripped. There are four holes in the back of the headstock - two are filled, two aren't. Overall the guitar has a great, well-worn look to it with a nice patina.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with black dot inlays. Original frets were replaced with medium jumbos which show no wear. Bullet truss rod & double string trees. The guitar had different tuners on at one time as evidenced by additional screw holes, however, the more traditional F tuners are back on it & are in good working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in Sienna Sunburst finish. Modern Fender 2-point tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles. Newer 3-ply white pickguard still has the plastic wrap over it. The serial number in the neck pocket matches the serial number on the headstock. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 9.6 oz.
Pickups: Newer Fender single coil Strat pickups with staggered poles & cream covers. Cloth & plastic wiring with newer pots. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
